BIOGRAPHY
Harsha Gobin is the Managing Associate of LX Legal & Tax, where she leads and advises on matters involving litigation, and corporate law. She brings over a cumulative experience in both advisory and contentious work, with a career spanning the judiciary, private practice, and legal education.
As a Managing Associate, Harsha plays a key role in coordinating and advising on high-stakes commercial disputes and corporate restructurings. She is particularly known for her practical and business oriented legal approach, combining deep legal insight with strategic thinking.
Harsha began her legal journey as a Judicial Research Assistant at the Judiciary of Mauritius, assisting a Supreme Court Judge on case law and legal analysis. After successfully completing the Law Practitioners Vocational Course, a distinguished and highly regarded qualification for legal practice in Mauritius, she went on with her pupillage under Mr. Gunesh and subsequently at Sewraj Solicitors where she handled commercial and civil litigation, arbitration, and insolvency matters. During this period, she also worked alongside the Chambers of Gavin Glover, gaining exposure to high-profile litigation and advocacy work.
She then practised as an Attorney at Uteem Chambers, where for two years she was actively involved in a wide array of civil, commercial, insolvency and also family matters, representing clients in both advisory and courtroom settings.
At LX Legal & Tax, Harsha is valued for her strategic litigation insight, commercial understanding, and commitment to client outcomes. She also supervise junior associates.
In parallel with her legal practice, Harsha serves as a part-time lecturer at the University of Mauritius, reflecting her ongoing commitment to legal education and the development of the profession.
